Terms of Service

These terms explain who can use TeenageWorks, how private generation content is handled, and the rules that apply to our products and services.

Using TeenageWorks

These terms apply when you access TeenageWorks websites, APIs, SDKs, playgrounds, models, and related services. By using the services, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are allowed to enter into this agreement.

If you use the services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

Age requirements

You must be at least 13 to use TeenageWorks. People under 13 may not create an account or use the services.

If you are 13 through 17, you may use TeenageWorks only with the consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian must review and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy for you and is responsible for your activity, purchases, content, and use of outputs.

If you are 18 or older, you may accept these terms and use your own account. If your location requires a higher age to enter into this agreement or consent independently, that higher age applies.

Schools, companies, government bodies, and other organizations that enable access by minors are responsible for obtaining any required parent or guardian authorization and for supervising that access.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity performed through your account. Keep credentials and API keys confidential, use reasonable safeguards, and notify us if you believe they have been compromised.

You may not sell, transfer, or provide account access in a way that bypasses service limits or enables unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You may not use the services to violate law, infringe rights, impersonate or deceive people about the source or identity of synthetic media, bypass safeguards, disrupt the service, or generate content that you do not have the right to provide or use.

You are responsible for obtaining permissions and making disclosures required for the text, audio, voices, references, outputs, and use cases you submit or distribute. You may not provide a person's voice recording without the legal right and consent required for that use.

Private generation content

Ordinary speech-generation content is processed to return your requested output and is not retained by TeenageWorks as generation history. We do not keep a content log of the text, inline references, or generated audio from ordinary requests.

We retain limited non-content metering and operational records, including request and account identifiers, character count, audio duration, processing time, status, and cost. Features you intentionally save, including saved voices, persist so that we can provide them on later requests.

Content and outputs

You retain the rights you hold in content you submit. You grant TeenageWorks the limited rights needed to process, transmit, and transform that content to provide the service, protect the platform, and fulfill the request as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subject to applicable law and these terms, you may use generated outputs. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use and for deciding whether they are accurate, appropriate, and lawful for your purpose.

Fees, credits, and limits

Paid use is billed under the pricing, credits, limits, and billing terms shown when you purchase or use a paid service. Taxes may apply. Usage measurements maintained by TeenageWorks determine the amount consumed.

We may enforce technical and usage limits to protect reliability, prevent misuse, and apply the plan associated with your account. Promotional credits and grants may have their own eligibility, duration, and usage conditions.

Our technology

TeenageWorks and its licensors retain rights in the services, models, software, documentation, designs, and branding. Except for the rights expressly granted here, these terms do not transfer ownership of our technology.

Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation, provided it does not identify confidential information that you did not intend to share.

Availability and changes

The services may change as our research and products develop. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms when necessary. Material changes will take effect after reasonable notice where required.

We do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create risk or harm, fail to pay amounts due, or if required by law.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeenageWorks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the services.

General terms

These terms and any additional terms presented for a specific service form the agreement between you and Teenage Works Private Limited. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it as part of a reorganization, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the relevant business.
